Interlakes TheatreYou may have seen this show before, but you’ve never seen it like this – Interlakes Theatre is bringing this hilarious holiday favorite to life…with a twist! This brand-new musical version will be performed at the Center Harbor Congregational Church for an art-meets-reality theater experience.

Performance dates are Dec 12th at 7:30pm, Dec 13th at 3:00pm, Dec 19th at 3:00pm and 7:00pm, and Dec 20th at 3:00pm at the Congregational Church of Center Harbor at 52 Main Street (right next to the Center Harbor Post Office).

Not only is Interlakes Theatre the first professional theatre in the country to debut this exuberant musical version, but the show is also being performed “in the round.” Directed by Brandon Santoro, “The Worst Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical” features professionals from New York alongside a colorful cast of local kids hailing from Franklin, Gilmanton, Holderness, Meredith, Moultonborough, North Conway and Tamworth including, Laryssa Humphrey, Griffin Plourdes, Catriona Stewart, Maddy Cushing, Abby Bryant, Emma Scott, Polly Hughes, Maggie & Polly Peirce, Ethan Larson, Andrew Decker, and Kristin Gundersen.

“We’re thrilled to be putting up this fun, festive and family-friendly show, which I know will be a holiday hit with both the young and the young at heart,” says Interlakes Theatre Producing Director Nancy Barry. “I’m looking forward to greeting many familiar faces throughout the show’s run, along with welcoming the next generation of theatre-goers to the Interlakes Theatre family.”

Will the “worst kids in the history of the world,” AKA the “Horrible Herdmans,” really ruin the annual Christmas pageant, or will they learn a thing or two — and teach a few lessons of their own — about the real spirit of the season? You’ll have to come out and see for yourself!

Tickets are just $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $10 for kids under 18. Tickets can be purchased online through the Interlakes Theatre website at www.interlakestheatre.com, by phone at 603-707-6035, or at the door.

While the Center Harbor Congregational Church setting means that all audience members will have up-close and personal seats, availability is limited, so the theatre encourages you to book your tickets in advance.

For additional fun, the Congregational Church will be conducting a short workshop for families who would like to make Christmas Tree Ornaments before the matinees on Dec 19th and 20th.
